V9.15 now has the ability to "Heat Qualify"

So if your group or club uses heats to seed the mains SlotTrak 9.15 can do that for you without the paperwork. For example:
You have a 4 lane track, and 18 drivers that you want to heat qualify instead of Indy qualifying or fast lap qualifying (all possible in SlotTrak).
So you run 2 min heats (2 min per lane 8 total minutes), it would be an 18 person round robin, the software can now create an auto qualify file ranking all 18 drivers. You the go back to race setup, goto the drivers panel and load the auto qualify file you just created and TADA - your drivers are ranked slowest to fastest and automatically dropped in to the appropriate number of heats (mains)

There are specific procedures for doing this heat qualifying for 20 drivers or less and 21 drivers or more.

See next post with exact details on how to do these procedures

There are two ways to create the autoqual file. If you
are running all drivers in one qual race (20 or less) it is easiest to
check the box in race setup and have it done when the race is completed.
This saves you the step of going to race scoring and doing it there, which
can still be done if you forget to check the box. If there are more than
20 drivers or more than one qual race, you must combine them in the scoring screen. (found in file/review/multiple race scoring . . . )

Bottom line - it can ALWAYS be done in the scoring screen whether you check the box or not. The checkbox is just a step saver if you only have one qual race of 20 drivers or less.

Please post any question you may have regarding this feature herein this forum
